What is Apple Intelligence? Apple Intelligence represents a personal AI Intelligence system that enhances various apps such as Siri, Photos, and Mail to offer a better experience for users while maintaining the highest level of privacy. Some of its key AI features include the ability to summarize emails or notifications, advanced editing capabilities, and a more pleasant Siri experience.
Apple Intelligence was indeed available in a developer and beta version but along with the iMac launch in the Apple event, the company announced that all the AI features would be available for public use . It’s important to know that these AI generative features are still in progress and will probably be updated periodically with various upgrades. Users will have to join a waitlist to have the new Apple Intelligence on their devices but the iPhone maker ensures that all users will wait just a few hours to activate the system.

For example, the “writing tool” is created to summarize notes, change the tone of the messages to make them sound friendlier or professional, and help users turn a text into a list or table.

Also, Siri is getting serious improvement, and to be used, users must double-tap on the bottom of the screen to see the new glowing border around the screen. Apple states that more improvements for Siri will be available in December, such as the ChatGPT integration . Other improvements for Apple Intelligence are about to come in December, and for example, the writing tool will let users describe the changes to be done by Apple artificial intelligence. For the Apple AI camera feature, Apple stated that Visual Intelligence will have the capacity to tell users about objects around them. The Apple Intelligence features are available for now just in US English but more languages will be coming next year. So, its availability will expand starting in December in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK. Additional languages are expected to come in April and for EU users, Apple Intelligence will also be available in April. For now, all EU residents can test the Apple Intelligence features such as Genmoji, Writing Tools, and redesigned Siri on macOS Sequoia 15.
