Apple Intelligence features were highly anticipated in the release of iOS 18.1, but some promising facilities still need to be added to the beta version. Users need to wait a bit longer to use the full potential of Apple’s intelligence integration.
The Apple developer beta omits Image Playground, the AI image generation tool, and Genmoji. Another feature of the Apple beta is Siri, which has an updated design and the capacity to keep context across many requests. Moreover, new eMail features arrive, like intelligent replies and email summaries. The Clean Up tool can remove undesired objects from images with a simple tap, but it is not available now. Apple beta is missing Siri’s capabilities for onscreen awareness and improved contextual understanding.
Another feature the Apple developer beta still needs is ChatGPT’s integration with Siri. Also, Apple intelligence will expand language support in future updates. Users must also wait for Priority Notifications- a tool designed to guarantee that they will see the most significant alerts.
To install these updates, users need an iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max, or for iPads and Macs, a system with an Apple Silicon chip. When they are ready, users will join a waitlist from their device’s Settings menu, and a notification will let them access it. The Apple intelligence release date brings several features, like Writing Tools, where you can rewrite, spellcheck, grammar check, and summarize text in Messages, Notes, Mail, and other apps.
Apple announced new AI for iPhone, iPad, and Mac at their June Worldwide Developers Conference. The Apple intelligence release date was on July 15th. Apple hasn’t released the betas for updates before the public launch of the original version. Testing the 18.1 update of Apple intelligence could help fix bugs and test features before they become available everywhere.
Apple Intelligence features are limited to the designer beta, and it needs to be clarified if there will be a public Apple beta for iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1. The Apple release date for the Apple beta is later this fall. Any developer planning to install the updates today must know that Apple Intelligence is still in the early stages of improvement.
