ndroid 15 is now available for Pixel devices, which brings new tech for privacy features and security tools along with other improvements for foldable
The Android 15 operating system was first released in September in the Android Open Source Project, but at the moment of launching it was not accessible for Pixel phones and tablets together with other major Android devices.
So, Google made an announcement yesterday that the Android 15 Pixel 9 operating system will be finally available for Pixel devices next to some Pixel feature releases.
Probably the most important feature of his operating system is that a new tech upgrade in Android 15 can make a “private space” for certain apps that users want to keep hidden from other people’s eyes, for example, social dating apps or banking apps. So, those apps that are included in the private space will not show up in the recent apps, in notifications, or settings as Google states and to have access to them, Pixel users must provide additional authentication.
For foldable devices and tablets, the Android 15 Pixel 9 operating system will allow users to pin and unpin the taskbar to have quicker access to every app. If Pixel users often utilize specific apps side by side, they will be able to create an app pairing and launch it from a single icon.
Also, various devices that are running the new tech Android operating system and not just Android 15 will have the Theft Detection Lock feature, which will be able to lock the user’s phone automatically if it detects that it has been stolen.

Besides this feature, Google will also add the Remote Lock feature that will allow Pixel users and others to lock their phone using another Android phone based on the phone number and a “simple security check”. Google ensures that all devices that are using Android 10 or newer will have these two new tech features while other users already have them.
For October, Google plans to roll out a new feature for the Pixel phone which will introduce Night Sight for Instagram to improve low-light photography along with extra controls for the Audio Magic Eraser.
Moreover, in the next weeks, the giant will also release a different new tech feature that allows Pixel users to transfer different media documents from a Pixel tablet to a Pixel phone by placing devices side by side.
Stay tuned for other Google updates!
