he Triller app, an app that aspires to be a social media competitor for TikTok, is launching a TikTok tool in order to benefit from the potential TikTok U.S. ban.
This TikTok tool allows users to move all their videos and content from the social media platform to the Triller app.
Backed up by a newly launched website called, SaveMyTikToks.com, the company promises to its users to back up and keep all their content after uploading them on the Triller app. It should be mentioned that the newly launched website is fueled by the Amplify.ai customer engagement platform, which was purchased by the TrillerNet parent company back in 2021.
Initially, this idea was more focused on helping all Triller content creators keep track of and monetize their video content on the app and help the same time brands along with advertisers to find the right content creators for various customer types. But now, all users who agree with the app's terms and conditions will be able to connect their TikTok accounts in order to have access in the Triller app to all of their content, videos, profile info, and other important details.
Even more so, after agreeing to all of these terms, the website will require users to provide their email addresses in order to send alerts when all of their videos and posts have been safely downloaded and saved. To later access these downloads, users will need to set up a Triller app account to upload their saved content directly to the app.
The deadline for the TikTok U.S. ban is January 19, just a day before Donald Trump will step in the role of the U.S President after the recent elections. Joe Biden’s decision for the social media platform is supported by national security concerns and is expected to take immediate effect if it remains unchanged.
Now, Donald Trump is struggling to pause this decision since he asked the Supreme Court to put it on pause, stating that this ban is most likely to have a significant impact on the country’s foreign relations.

If the TikTok ban takes immediate effect, the Triller app will benefit from it and have millions of users shift their interest to this video-sharing app. The company is now putting a lot of effort into these actions, as Triller hired a former executive from TikTok, Sean Kim to be the CEO of Triller in December 2024.
It remains to be seen if the Triller app will easily transform into a TikTok-similar app or if it will have other features and capabilities to engage users even more. Stay tuned for updates about this new TikTok tool!
