Wizz Air offers unlimited flight passes to customers for an annual fee of 499€ or $549.
This kind of unlimited flight pass is the first among airlines because until now, airlines have offered a variety of multi-flight packages. All you can fly pass is similar to the package offered by Frontier Airlines in the U.S. “Go Wild!” and by AirAsia based in Malaysia.
On the Wizz Air website, we can see that from September passengers can book flights with “no limits” to many international destinations like Athens, Madrid, Paris, or Reykjavik.
The price may sound too good to be true, but it may be. The subscription offers some good deals but has some conditions with restrictions. Flights can only be booked within three days of departure and there is a flat fee of €9.00 for each flight. This package will be of most use to people who travel frequently.
One feature that some would consider an obstacle is that the flights can only be booked as one-way fares meaning that they will have to book and outbound flights later, without knowing the exact date of return.
Also, after three cancellations, your pass will be revoked, so you can't book a flight and then cancel it when you find a better flight.
The budget airline is selling several 10,000 subscriptions distributed across the operating airports of Wizz Air. These tickets included in the package are the basic flights and if you want to add luggage, seating assignments, or priority boarding every customer needs to pay extra fees for each feature.
Members of the "All You Can Fly" pass must specify a preferred departure airport from which most flights will be booked. At the moment, most of these passes are sold out, but the remaining departures are from Central Eastern Europe and Norway.
But Wizz Air does not guarantee that every membership owner will have an available seat on any plane. In the terms and conditions, this information has vague wording about the seat availability on flights.
“The provision of flight tickets depends on several internal and external factors”, Wizz states in the terms and conditions document.
Do you think this “All you can fly” pass is worth it for you? Maybe if you are a spontaneous person with a flexible schedule this can be the one for you. Check the terms and conditions document from the Wizz Air website and find out if this package meets your needs.
