So, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, reports that compared with the standard Apple iPhone models that are considered to be a standard size for users. It will be surely impressive to see how the giant iPhone maker will manage to develop a slimmer version of the iPhones without risking the overall battery life.
But, according to the same report, Gurman thinks that Apple will introduce in this new iPhone 17 release a completely portless design, with only wireless charging and data syncing using Apple cloud services.
While in the U.S. this scenario can become a reality, things are completely different in the EU, due to the European regulations that require all smartphone makers to offer support for USB-C connectors.
It is important to mention that Sonny Dickson made the first prototype of the iPhone 17 line designs public on its X account. He is previously known for leaking different iPhone models, so he is considered to be a reliable source. So, according to his images that were shot from all angles in order to see the main design changes that are about to be launched this year, the iPhone 17 Air model will be significantly thinner than the normal iPhone 17 models.
The iPhone 17 Pro models will also receive a new look, with a redesigned camera bump which will be remarkably different from the previous iPhone 16 Pro model. In his post, we can also see that all iPhone 17 phones that are expected to be launched, have the magnetic feature design, but we can’t see if all the iPhones will be port-free, or just the iPhone 17 Air will suffer this drastic redesign.
Also, the Air model will probably have a single rear camera, which represents a similar design to the recent iPhone 16e released. The front camera will be included for all models in the popular Dynamic Island. With a mix of high-end and affordable features, the iPhone 17 Air will have a 120 Hz ProMotion display along with an A19 Chip instead of an A19 Pro while the battery life will remain the same as the other iPhone models. The iPhone 17 price has not been revealed yet, but Apple fans and specialists expect a price of about $900, the current price of the iPhone 16 Plus model.
