next week as a part of the versions of iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1. According to various rumors circulating online, the Apple Intelligence platform is expected to come next Monday along with the operating systems launch.
Currently, Apple Intelligence is available only for those users with the developer beta versions of the operating system, where they have the chance to explore some integrated writing tools, image cleanup, and article summaries along with typing input for the redesigned Siri.
Besides these, this Wednesday the iPhone maker started to introduce the developer versions for iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS Sequoia 15.2. These operating system updates will make available more Apple Intelligence updates such as the Genmoji, Image Playground, visual intelligence, Image Wand, and maybe the best one of all, the ChatGPT Apple integration.
The iOS 18.2 beta version will be supported in more regions other than the U.S. and users from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and the United Kingdom who have their phones in the regions’s English will have full access to all the Apple Intelligence features that have been released now.
It’s important to mention that only a few devices will have the opportunity to test these generative AI features, due to the hardware limitations of the older devices. So, the Apple Intelligence platform will run only for iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, on all iPhone 16 models, on iPads that have an A17 Pro chip, M1 or later, and on all Mac devices that have an M1 chip or a later model.
Also, after the software download, users must opt-in to use the Apple Intelligence in the setup mode or later in the Settings app. After that, it’s crucial to know that all users will be placed on a “waiting” list, and the requests are most likely to be handled in just a few hours.
Apple Intelligence was introduced this year at the WWDC 2024 in June, where Apple stated that all of its features would arrive in stages. But one of the most impressive features that is set to be launched maybe next year, is the Siri feature which will be able to understand what is happening on the iPhone screen and be able to take actions based on the users' requests. All incoming features will be impressive for sure, but we must wait for them to be launched.
Stay tuned for more updates on Apple Intelligence’s features!
