A few of the companies that they will be teaming up with are TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Wipro their mission being to accelerate AI adoption. Nvidia wrote on their website that “Information technology giants including Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Wipro are teaming with NVIDIA to accelerate AI adoption. They’re creating new jobs and training nearly half a million developers for the era of AI.”.
With these new deals, a lot of new opportunities arise. Jensen Huang, Nvidia’s CEO and chip designer, also said that the chip maker company is partnering with Reliance, India’s most valuable company, in order to create a better infrastructure for AI applications in India.
Even more so, he also mentioned that Tech Mahindra would leverage the use of Nvidia’s chips and software to develop Indus 2.0 and an AI model in Hindi. Tata Communications and Yotta Data Services which are infrastructure providers, are also planning on buying and using Nvidia H100 chips by the end of this year.
Huang said, “India used to be a country that exported software. In the future, India will be a country that exports AI,”.
Harish Krishnakumar, Nvidia senior market analyst of IT Services at IDC India, said “In the coming years, IT service investments will be driven by an interest in gen AI,” And that “Enterprises will continue engaging with IT service providers to develop potential use cases and POCs and also to transform and manage their complex IT infrastructure and applications.”.
225,00 employees were trained by Wipro on Nvidia’s AI platform getting ready to use the platform. At the same time, Tata Consultancy Services declared that they had trained over 50,000 members of the staff with AI associates. And, let’s not forget that more than 500,000 developers have joined Nvidia’s developer program.
Zoho, an Indian software provider will also use Nvidia’s technology in order to build a large language model in Hindi. In order to stand rivals from the AI chip models, Nvidia has prepared and trained over 100,000 Indian AI developers in order to compete in the market.
On their blog, Nvidia also wrote “Consulting experts are creating custom models with NVIDIA NeMo and deploying AI in production with NVIDIA NIM microservices. Using NVIDIA NIM Agent Blueprints — including a new blueprint for customer service announced today at the NVIDIA AI Summit in India — consultants are helping global clients tailor AI agents for their unique needs.”
