Sony Video Games will launch the Astro bot game on September 6th with the Astro bot controller. It is not the first launch of a special-edition controller to celebrate the new Sony video games. They launched something like Astro Bot, a themed controller together with the Marvel Spider-Man 2.

Sony Video Games made a sequel to a mini-game in The Playroom VR for PS4. It continued the world and characters of that game. The developer Team Asobi monitored the PSVR-exclusive play, followed by the PS5 pack-in game Astro Playroom. Astro Bot is larger than the previous one, with many levels to run, jump, and hover.
The new game will highlight many PlayStation Easter eggs. It will include robot versions of personages like Kratos and the hero of Bloodborne showing up. With the new controller, Sony doubled down on the adjustable triggers combined with haptic feedback. They connected them closely to Astro's new powers.
