Indeed, the Mac Mini has not been renewed every single year, and there have been periods when Apple ignored it for a long time. But now, this is about to change, and according to some rumors, the Mac Mini will get a significant Apple design makeover. Mark Gurman states in a Bloomberg report that the Mac Mini will be powered by an M4 chip and also the Apple new design will shrink in a size comparable with other Apple products, Apple TV.
Even if it has a smaller size, several Apple fand believe that it will have impressive processing power, and the efficiency of its chips will allow different hardware designs impracticable until now.
According to Gurman, the 2024 Apple Mac Mini, or maybe the M4 Pro model will have five USB-C ports, evenly distributed along Apple's new design to create easier access to all the ports. The good news is that will likely keep the HDMI port for those users who want to include the Mac Mini in different setups. The USB-A port will be eliminated, but currently, almost no one is using it now.
