According to Tor Myhren, Apple’s vice president of Marketing Communications “Apple Immersive Video is a groundbreaking leap forward for storytelling, offering Apple Vision Pro users remarkable experiences with an unparalleled sense of realism and immersion,” said Tor Myhren, Apple’s vice president of Marketing Communications.
This week, Apple Vision Pro News announced that it is releasing a new series of immersive video content for its innovation. The amazing immersive videos recorded in 3D with 8K with a 180-degree field of view will be available only for the owners of Vision Pro Apple. Additionally, the Spatial Audio feature can take viewers to the center of the action.
We found a series of films that are going to be available starting on July 18, including amazing videos in the sports section on Apple Vision Pro. For now, this will include behind-the-scenes and on-the-court views of the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend with legends like Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry and a new sports series from Red Bull, called Big-Wave Surfing.
Besides, Apple revealed a list of other content that is about to be launched like:
- Boundless - Premiers on July 18 and invites its viewers from the comfort of their homes, to experience once-in-a-lifetime trips. The first experience available is “ Hot Air Balloons” where viewers can admire the beautiful landscape of Cappadocia Turkey.
- Wild Life - Available starting from next month, this series aims to bring viewers close to the most breathtaking creatures on the Planet. Firstly, this series will show how keepers from Sheldrick Wildlife Trust take care of elephants.
- Elevated - Available starting in September is an aerial travel series that offers the opportunity to enjoy experiences from heights.
- Submerged - written and directed by Edward Berger, winner of the Academy Award will be the first scripted Apple Immersive short film.
Also, later this year, Apple promises more immersive video content with performances from famous artists that will be available for Vision Pro Apple owners, starting with The Weeknd performance.
Apple Vision Pro is now available in 10 countries, Australia, Canada, China mainland, Hong Kong, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore, the U.K., and the U.S.
