he iPhone version of the Google Chrome app browser will get some upgrades with various features from the Android version.
The iOS Google Chrome app will include Google image search and also text search. Previously Google Lens for iPhone indeed had this search for a picture feature but now, users can add words besides the photo to narrow the search even more.
For example. Users are able to introduce a picture of an object, such as a t-shirt into Google Lens for iPhone and type a color that they prefer to be searched. After that, the Lens app will try to find the perfect t-shirt for your request.
This Google Chrome app update comes right after the giant Apple recently launched its Visual Intelligence search but is only available for the last model of iPhone launched, the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro .
This new Google Image search feature also allows users to save images and PDF files from the search directly on Google Photos or Google Drive. The save option is perfect for those users who are looking to have access to these files quickly and also want to keep their local iPhone memory clean.
But besides these Google image search and text search features from the Google Chrome app, the iOS version will also get Shopping Insights , which is able to notify users about a “Good Deal Now” in the address bar of every product users search. Also, users will have access to a price tracker, but they will need to sync their browsing history with Google and turn on the “Make searchers & browsing better” in order to see their Google history visit.

According to Google, more features and updates are about to come in the coming months. Until then, all iPhone users should test these features!
