technology with other search power features from other companies.
It seems that OpenAI talked with various website and app developers in order to develop its search products such as Conde Nast, Redfin, and Eventbrite Priceline, which have already sent prototypes to the ChatGPT owner.
This switch to search engines could make OpenAI and ChatGPT technology a significant competitor for the giant Google. Google Browser and search platform represent currently the leader in the industry market. But it’s important to mention that the ChatGPT owner has already developed a product for the search market, SearchGPT, which was launched recently.
To keep up with this competition, Alphabet, the Google owner has recently made efforts in order to further develop its AI technology especially after the OpenAI ChatGPT launch back in 2022. And Alphabet responded to this by launching its own artificial intelligence chatbot technology, last year.
It’s worth mentioning that the Alphabet shared recorded a decline of around 1% in the extended trading, and Thursday recorded a loss of around 5%.
Recently, Google’s dominance in the browser and search industry market has been questioned, due to the fact that the U.S. Department of Justice stated that the giant must sell the Google Chrome Browser in order to diminish its monopoly over the online search market. And after this, OpenAI considers that now is the perfect time to start developing its own browser, to become more popular among users.
The ChatGPT owner also has some discussions with the giant Samsung, in order to power with its artificial intelligence technology, all the Samsung devices. However, according to the Information reports, Samsung is now an important partner of Google.
But, OpenAI already has a partnership with Google’s biggest competitor, Apple, in which the ChatGPT owner is powering Apple Intelligence on the newest devices with its own artificial intelligence technology.
It’s important to mention that as the Information states, OpenAI will not launch soon a browser with artificial intelligence technology.
