he giant Samsung phone maker just released a Special Edition version of their Galaxy Z Fold with a thinner and lighter design compared with the recently
launched Galaxy Fold 6. The Special Edition of the Galaxy Z Fold has a larger display on the inside and outside part and comes in a banded pattern on the back design.
After several rumors what its specifications and improved design, Samsung, released its Special Edition of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold which represents an upgraded version of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and a greater improvement compared to the old version, Samsung Z Fold 5.
Due to the recent development of artificial intelligence in smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has memory available for Galaxy AI along with a 200-megapixel wide-angle camera.
For now, this Special Edition is only available in South Korea, starting from the price of 2,789,600 KRW equivalent of $2000 and it will go on sale this Friday, October 25th. But, what’s cool and intriguing about this is that when a customer purchases the Special Edition, will also get some discounts on the Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch Ultra, the Galaxy Buds 3 pro, or Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.
With a weight of 236 grams and a 10.6mm thick design, the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is still 3 grams lighter and 1.5 mm thinner compared with the base model of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. Its integrated memory has upgraded now to 16 GB standard and the wide-angle sensor has received a bump from 50 to 200 megapixels.

Regarding the display, the inner and outer displays are just slightly bigger at 8.0 inches and 6.5 inches compared with the 7.3 inches and 6.3 inches for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, which makes this new Special Edition device slightly taller and wider folded as well as unfolded.
These additional changes aren’t probably addressing the issues and concerns that reviewers observed for the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6.
We don’t know yet for sure if this Special Edition of the Samsung Galaxy Fold will further expand to other countries and regions.
